COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- State officials say a company that makes paint for cars and planes will bring its headquarters to South Carolina, creating 85 new jobs.
The State Department of Commerce said Tuesday that SEM Product Inc. will move its headquarters from Charlotte, N.C., to Rock Hill. The site will also serve as the company's manufacturing plant.
Company president Steve Fussy says SEMS Products choose South Carolina because of its business-friendly climate and strong work force.
He hopes the South Carolina site will be fully operational by the end of the year.
