UNION CITY, Calif. (AP) -- Questcor Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Thursday Gary Sawka will become senior vice president and chief financial officer, replacing George Stuart, who is stepping down for family reasons.
Sawka, 62, was formerly CFO of Tripath Technology Inc., and has served in the same position for ePlanning Securities, TVIA Inc., Primesource Corp. and ITEL Container Corp.
Stuart, 45, said in August he would leave Questcor once a replacement was hired. He had commuted from a home in San Diego to Questcor's offices in Northern California, but wanted to stay closer to home.
