FREMONT, Calif. (AP) -- Logitech International SA said Thursday it will acquire privately held headphone maker Ultimate Ears for $34 million cash.
The Swiss maker of computer peripherals and other accessories said the deal expands its portfolio of portable music-listening devices.
Logitech said it expects the acquisition of the Irvine, Calif., company to close in August.
Shares of Logitech rose 23 cents to $27.88 in premarket trading.
