CHARLOTTE, NC. -- Horizon Lines domestic ocean shipping and integrated logistics company today named James R. Storey Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. The position reports to Michael T. Avara, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Horizon Lines Inc.
Storey he will have primary responsibility for managing the company's communications with the investment community and other key constituents who influence the investment decision.
Storey joins Horizon Lines with over 16 years experience in executive investor relations and communications roles. Most recently Storey served as Vice President, Investor Relations for BlueLinx Holdings Inc., in Atlanta, Ga.
