LONDON (AP) -- SABMiller PLC, the world's third largest brewer, said Tuesday it has acquired the Russian brewer LLC Vladpivo. Terms were not disclosed.
SABMiller said the newly-acquired brewer will become the third Russian production facility for SABMiller, whose brands include Miller Lite and Pilsner Urquell beers.
Vladpivo is based near Vladivostok in eastern Russia, has gross assets of $69 million and a capacity to produce 100 million liters of beer per year. A liter is 1.06 quarts.
