MEDINA, Ohio (AP) -- Industrial products maker RPM International Inc. said Monday it named P. Kelly Tompkins, current executive vice president and chief administrative officer, to the additional post of chief financial officer.
He replaces Ernest Thomas, who left RPM to pursue other business interests, the company said.
RPM's products range from industrial roofing systems and sealants to consumer products for home improvement and boat repair.
Tompkins' appointment is effective immediately. He has served as chief administrative officer since October 2006.
RPM's shares rose 49 cents, or 2 percent, to $24.88 in afternoon trading. The stock has traded between $17.25 and $25.74.
