EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- Power-chip maker International Rectifier Corp. said Thursday it named Mike Brown chief information officer.
The position is newly created, according to the company.
He most recently worked as chief information officer at media communications conglomerate Freedom Communications Inc.
Shares of International Rectifier rose 38 cents to close at $25.30.
