Honda Canada Names President And CEO

Manabu Nishimae selected as president and CEO, replacing Hiroshi Kobayashi; Kobayashi will become the automaker's deputy chief operating officer and manager of regional sales for Japan.

TORONTO -- Honda Canada Inc. has named Manabu Nishimae as its president and CEO, replacing Hiroshi Kobayashi.
 
Kobayashi will become the automaker's deputy chief operating officer and manager of regional sales for Japan.
 
Nishimae, who has previously worked in Canada for Honda Canada's Motorcycle Division, was most recently working in Japan.
 
Shares of parent company Honda Motor Corp. were trading at US$32.50, up 58 cents, on the New York Stock Exchange.
