Metal Parts Maker To Sell Pressure Vessels Unit

Reunion Industries has agreed to sell off its pressure vessels division for $64.3 million to an affiliate of Mumbai-based Everest Kanto Cylinder.

MCKEESPORT, Pa. (AP) — Metal products and parts manufacturer Reunion Industries has agreed to sell off its pressure vessels division for $64.3 million.
 
Reunion Industries is currently operating under the jurisdiction of a U.S. bankruptcy court. The deal requires court approval.
 
An affiliate of Mumbai, India, based Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd. will be the buyer if the deal is approved.
 
Reunion's pressure vessels division is located in McKeesport. Under the deal, the buyer would employ the company's existing workers and operate the facility in McKeesport.
