AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) — Hormel Foods Corp., which makes meat and food products, said Monday it expects to make $2 billion in sales from new products by 2012.

Previously, the company said it wanted to have $1 billion in sales from new products launched since 2000. It achieved that goal by the end of fiscal 2007.
