Harsco Wins ArcelorMittal Mill Services Contract

Industrial services and engineered products provider received a nine-year contract from ArcelorMittal expected to generate more than $100 million over its term.

HARRISBURG, Penn. (AP) — Industrial services and engineered products provider Harsco Corp. said Monday its mill services division has received a nine-year contract from ArcelorMittal SA that is expected to generate more than $100 million over its term.
 
Harsco's MultiServ mill services division will manage the scrap-yard and slab-yard operations of ArcelorMittal's ALZ Genk stainless-steel plant in Belgium. Based in Luxembourg, ArcelorMittal is the world's largest steelmaker.
 
MultiServ already provides a range of services, including on-site slag pot transport, metal recovery, slab grinding and scrap oxycutting, to ArcelorMittal's two major stainless-steel sites in Belgium.
