WASHINGTON — The combined value of distributive trade sales and manufacturers’ shipments for November totaled $1,156.1 billion, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The total was up 1.6 percent from October and up 8.7 percent from November 2006.
The end-of-month level for manufacturers’ and trade inventories was $1,436.7 billion, up 0.4 percent from October and up 3.5 percent from November 2006.
The total business inventories/sales ratio was 1.24. The November 2006 ratio was 1.31.
