LeMaitre Acquires Medical Device Maker

Maker of devices to treat aortic aneurysm and other vascular conditions announces $2.8 million takeover of Vascular Architects.

BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) — LeMaitre Vascular Inc., which makes devices to treat aortic aneurysm and other vascular conditions, raised its 2007 revenue guidance Thursday after announcing its $2.8 million takeover of medical device maker Vascular Architects.
 
LeMaitre Vascular now expects 2007 revenue in a range of $39.8 million to $41.3 million.
 
The company expects its acquisition of Vascular Architects to hurt its earnings results slightly over the next 12 months before improving.
