Chemtura Ups Tin-Stabilizer Prices By 15 Percent In EAME

Cites sharp increase in tin-metal costs.

Chemtura Corp. said Monday it will increase prices on its tin stabilizer by 15 percent in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, effective April 1 or as contract terms permit.

Chemtura said the increase is valid on all pack sizes and is driven by unexpected tight product supply and the sharp increase in tin-metal costs over the last 12 months, and more specifically over the last two months.

Chemtura is a major global supplier of plastic additives and a large producer of urethane polymers.
