Non-Profit Manufacturing Group To Take Over Cleveland's World Trade Center

Integration expected by end of February.

The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network (MAGNET), a nonprofit organization focused on expanding the manufacturing sector, is reportedly set to take over the World Trade Center Cleveland.

According to an article in The Plain Dealer, the area’s chamber of commerce, the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP), said a MAGNET council would handle the center’s initiatives, such as the recent visit from Chinese government and business leaders who toured industrial sites in the region.

“The process is not finished yet,” the paper quoted GCP senior vice president Dan Berry as saying, adding that he expects the integration to be completed by the end of February.

The World Trade Center Cleveland focuses on international trade in the region.
