Roper Industries Acquires Dynisco For $243 Million

Dynisco has operations in the U.S., Germany and Malaysia.

Roper Industries, Inc., a provider of engineered products, announced Friday its acquisition of Dynisco LLC, a supplier of software and test, measurement and control products, from Audax Group for $243 million.

Dynisco, headquartered in Franklin, Mass., has operations in the U.S., Germany and Malaysia. Its brands include Alpha Technologies and Viatran.

With the acquisition of Dynisco, Brian Jellison, chairman, president and CEO of Roper Industries, said he expects the 2007 EBITDA to exceed $28 million on sales in excess of $100 million.

Dynisco will become part of Roper’s Energy Systems & Controls segment, and will work closely with other segments on sensor technology development and applications.

Larry Klumpp, Dynisco's president, and his management team will continue to lead the business.

Roper Industries is headquartered in Duluth, GA.
