WARSAW, Ind. (AP) -- Orthopedics manufacturer Zimmer Holdings Inc. plans to create nearly 100 new jobs in Warsaw by 2011.

The new jobs are part of a $19 million expansion announced Monday.

The company will add 50,000 square feet to its foundry, which will produce implants used for hip, knee and shoulder replacements. Zimmer spokesman Brad Bishop said the foundry addition is expected to be completed by mid-2009.

This is the company's fourth expansion since 2004. Zimmer currently employs about 2,800 people in Warsaw, about 40 miles northwest of Fort Wayne.
