NORTHFIELD, Ill. -- Kraft Foods and upstart upcycling company TerraCycle announce a new partnership.
The partnership will expand TerraCycle’s collection sites and prevent a significant amount of packaging waste from going to landfills.
TerraCycle takes packages and materials that are difficult to recycle and turns them into goods like purses and backpacks.
Kraft will be the first major multi-category corporation to fund the collection of used packaging associated with its products.
