ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- New York environmental officials are suspending the registration of four commercial pesticide products manufactured by the Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. Any unregistered product may not be sold, offered for sale, distributed or used in the state.

The move follows the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's issue of a national ''stop sale, use or removal'' order against Scotts and three affiliates for illegal, unregistered and misbranded products.

The products are Shake 'N Feed All Purpose Plant Food Plus Weed Preventer, SLS Halts Pro 22-0-8, SLS Halts Pro 14-2-5 and SLS Halts Pro 0-0-7.

Consumers who have the unregistered pesticides should contact Scotts or their local retailer outlet.

Calls to the company were not immediately returned Monday.
