Coca-Cola Finalizes European Joint Venture

ATLANTA (AP) -- Beverage company Coca-Cola Co. said Thursday it finalized a joint venture with Italy-based illycaffè SpA that will debut three coffee drinks in Europe next month.
 
The joint venture, named Ilko Coffee International, will roll out canned caffe, cappuccino and latte macchiato drinks in countries including Austria, Croatia, Greece and the Ukraine.
 
Milan, Italy-based Ilko Coffee will be headed by Coca-Cola executive Vinay Kapoor.
 
The drinks are set to expand to other areas such as Asia, North America and the Pacific during the rest of the year and into 2009 through Coca-Cola.
