DALLAS (AP) -- A unit of chemical company Celanese Corp. on Monday announced surcharges of 25 cents per kilogram for acetate filter-tow products for all regions, effective Aug. 1.
The surcharge, which will remain in effect until Dec. 31, will help offset increases in energy and raw material costs.
Celanese shares rose 51 cents to $44.90 in morning trading.
